EKO Fiesta Parlour Acoustic Guitar

A really cool sounding little P-Series (Parlor) guitar reissued from Eko’s back catalog from the 60’s. This modern version says “Eko Made in Recanati Italy” on the soundboard’s upper left, as opposed to the original just saying “Eko”.

The guitar is set low enough for regular playing but you can still alternate to slide playing if you’re in the Robert Johnson mood. It truly captures the old mid-range honky bluesy sound with brightness coming into focus as you pick or slide harder. Everything else on the guitar is original. According to the Italians, it’s got a flat Koto top. The guitar has a neat honeyburst fade to it. Standard rounded Mahogany back and sides. Trapeze tailpiece and bolt-on neck design which stays true to the original 60’s concept and the serial number is stamped on the neckplate. Mahogany neck has a special fade to it that brings the gold center stripes in and out of focus. Simple slotted headstock design. Vintage-style 3 per side open tuners.
